This Incredible Place:
Here I am writing copy for an area that is beyond description for its scenic beauty. Any one landscape feature would be reason to visit and yet there are probably a hundred of postcard perfect sights and sites in this territory. Even after 18 years of living here, we still are caused to stop in our tracks and exclaim "just look at that!". And you can live here too.Coming from all over the world, most of our citizenry has made the clear choice to live here. We recognize that this area is not like any other and we act to make sure it does not become like every other place.

A lesson learned in my world travels has been a basic respect for an individual's "pursuit of happiness" (to coin a phrase). In Hood River and The Gorge that respect seems to be shared by others as we strive to add dimension to our lives. And when the garage fills up with toys you know your passion has become a genuine "lifestyle". Around here, as you know, outdoor sports is the most favored passion. And though I don't get out there as much as I used to, I know which properties are the best match for the windesurfing, kiteboarding, horse riding, skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, fishing, wildflowering, rock climbing, bicycling habits you might bring with you.A personal passion of mine is fine home building.
